MENTORING AND EDUCATING - OUR PLAN
This project is dedicated to supporting young people from socio-economically deprived areas by providing them with access to a strong education, career guidance (both vocational and academic), and mental health support.
At Ascendance Coaching, we believe that young people need a combination of these elements to unlock their potential and lead happy, successful, and healthy lives. While we’ve always kept our rates affordable for families facing financial struggles, the current cost-of-living crisis has made it impossible for many to afford even the most basic support for their children. Families are now forced to choose between heating their homes or putting food on the table - let alone investing in their children’s futures.
At the same time, schools in these areas are severely underfunded, leaving young people without the resources they need to thrive. This is a crisis that demands urgent action, and we are committed to making a real, lasting impact.
Here’s how we intend to make a difference:
We are partnering with various academic and vocational organizations, as diverse as an aviation consultancy, a tree surgery company and a roofing business. We want to show young people that there are genuine options whether they are talented academically, business minded or perhaps more vocationally.
These are just some of the initiatives we plan to implement. With your support, we can expand these programs and reach even more young people in need. We are really keen to support community centres, gyms, boxing clubs and other places. And our ultimate vision would be to put on events that appeal to our demographic, and be part of a cultural shift...
If you’re able to contribute in any way, we would be immensely grateful. Every penny raised will be used transparently and responsibly, with clear accounting and regular updates on how the funds are being used.
Together, we can make a tangible difference in the lives of young people who deserve every opportunity to succeed.
We’ll provide structured scholarships to young people whose families cannot afford our services. For example, a scholarship might include 10 lessons and 10 coaching sessions. However, we’ll also set clear goals and expectations. Students will need to meet these targets, teaching them valuable lessons about accountability, discipline, and taking ownership of their futures.
Scholarships for Struggling Families
We’ll provide specialised support for neurodivergent students who may not even be aware of their condition. Underfunded and understaffed schools often overlook these issues, leaving these young people without the tools they need to succeed.
Tailored Support for Neurodivergent Students
We’ll focus particularly on young people who have begun to engage in criminal activity. By bringing in mentors who were once offenders themselves but have turned their lives around, we hope to show these young people that change is possible.
MENTORSHIP FOR AT-RISK YOUTH
It is our opinion that the present day academic system is outdated and often unappealing to students across the board, due to schools' failure to keep pace with changes in the world around and technology. However, once again, it is societies most deprived areas that will be hit hardest by this disillusionment.
